My name is Maria Dragone. I'm an Artist and Mom of my two loving boys, Anthony and Alexander.
When I was in kindergarten my teacher, Mrs. Pegal, asked all of us to draw a picture of ourselves. She gave us pencils, crayons and paper. As I was busy working on drawing my shoelaces and ruffles on my socks I heard other kids talking. I looked up and saw everyone else was done.
I guess I had a panicked look on my face because Mrs. Pegal told me to keep working. When I finally finished I saw everyone else had the basic stick figure while I had drawn as much as I could including my eyelashes.
She hung everything up in the hall for Parents Night. When my mom got there, my teacher informed my mother that I was an artist. I have been "arting" ever since.
Polymer Clay is my favorite medium. I create Dragons, Fairy Houses, Gnomes and other magical creatures.
I have been doodling for years. I finally became a CZT37 online in May 2021.
I was 9 years old when I had my first experience with Spirit. Started reading these cards at 15 years old.
I am currently working on my Certification to become a Crystal Practitioner with Hibiscus Moon. Then onto completing my Crystal Masters.
I started down this path in 1998 when I went to Massage School. I completed Reiki Master in March 2021.
My Heart and Soul!
In fact that's how I came up with the business name. For the last 14 years my focus has been raising my boys. The doctor appointments, IEP meetings, specialists and therapists took up the bulk of my time. Now that they are older it's becoming easier to work on my business. The best part is…they help me too. Both of them are creative like I am. In fact, Anthony was selected for Art Enrichment in 2020. Alexander is also connecting with Spirit and cards. We all do cosplay and design our costumes and props.
In 2020 during the pandemic we decided our family was ready to adopt. Anthony wanted an orange kitten and Alex wanted a black one. We found a litter with an Orange and Black and White. Alex felt it was more important to have brothers than to have a black one. When we visited the litter, I fell in love with the tortie. At that point there were only 2 left in this litter. Once you have 3 it's not a big deal to have more. They were the best thing that happened to us in 2020.
